Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supplier relationships to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills to improve operational performance and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage procurement, inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to achieve cost efficiencies.
- Analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with production, sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and product availability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular supply chain reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, disruptions, and operational bottlenecks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain and logistics team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement processes, and logistics operations.
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, and supply chain tools.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Preferred Skills
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CIPS, or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or agribusiness industries.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting and supply planning.
- Understanding of international trade, import/export processes, and customs regulations.
- Experience with data-driven supply chain optimization and process automation.
